Continues to offer very attractive and appetizing items. Always great soups, salads that are creative, and delicious quiches. Be sure to save room for the carrot cake, amazing.
went again with friends and they could not stop talking about it!!! the french onion soup, the tomato bisque, the spinach salad with hot bacon dressing, & of course .... the lemon muffins!!!! never ever disappoints!!!! make reservations or you may not get seated!!! open 11-2:30 only.
We had the quiche of the day with the spinach salad and it was delicious. My husband had the onion soup which was ok but not special. Service was pleasant and very efficient. Reservations for lunch outdoors on a nice afternoon is recommended. My only hesitation about recommending this place is that our guest, who uses a walker, had to go outside down a ramp to a handicapped accessible side entrance . there is no elevator to the downstairs restrooms. I'm not sure how well this outdoor ramp will work during the winter months should we try to have lunch again.
Beautiful picturesque place to enjoy shopping (unique items) and eating. Spinach salad with hot bacon dressing and half of a chicken wrap. Hubby had jerk shrimp salad with mango ginger dressing and a banana nut muffin. Yum, yum.
Very good lunch !! We love going there at least twice a year. If we have family from out of town we try to take them there.
Funny place - a classy-ish restaurant in what looks like just a plain ol' place on a plain ol' road in rural Ohio. But it was good. I had the quiche of the day, and it was better than most restaurant quiches: most tend to be dense and overly eggy or cheesy, while Pine Tree's was balanced between the two. The price was good and the value at lunch was very good. The ambiance is nice, with lots of levels and rooms and huge windows looking out on manicured spaces. Our server was professional and the place, including bathrooms, was neat and clean. There's a store as you walk in selling artsy clothes and kitsch that have pretty reasonable prices, really. Go there.
